The Story Behind Birdie Lounge
Birdie Lounge was founded by Georges Camara and his wife Amy, a couple whose roots stretch from Ivory Coast to Israel, but whose hearts led them to Rwanda. Drawn by the country's warmth, safety, and spirit of growth, they chose Kigali as the place to turn their dream into reality.
Their passion for golf inspired them to create more than just a space to play, it's a vision in motion. The Birdie Lounge is not only Rwanda's first golf simulator experience but also the first step toward something bigger: building a golf academy in Rwanda.
Georges and Amy believe golf should be accessible, modern, and fun for everyone, from seasoned golfers sharpening their skills to newcomers discovering the game for the first time. The Birdie Lounge blends technology, community, and lifestyle, giving players a taste of the world's greatest courses right here in Kigali.
